Tag Agreement Requirements

Give the courses you will take in your post-TAG in the winter or spring of 2021, then update your courses for your UC application in November and/or in the Academic Transfer update in January. It`s normal that your TAG and UC application jump classes don`t coincide. As long as you meet the eligibility and preparation requirements, it is normal to take courses in the winter or spring other than those you originally enrolled in your TAG application. 2. Complete all remaining course and AMP requirements in your TAG agreement. Select a campus to check certain eligibility criteria and requirements. Six University of California (UC) campuses offer students from all Colleges of the Community of California (CCC) guaranteed admission. Interested students must meet campus requirements to qualify for a BALISE. By participating in a TAG program, students can ensure their admission to a specific UC campus. Six UC campuses offer guaranteed access for California students who meet these specific requirements. Another advantage of writing a TAG is that students receive their scientific records at an early stage, early notification of admission and specific instructions on key preparation and general training programs. The BALISE sets criteria for guaranteed admission to the BKSB. At UCSB, TAGs are available for all college of Letters and Science majors, with the exception of performing arts majors who require an audition.

The TAG is not available to majors at the College of Engineering or the College of Creative Studies. For more information on articulation courses, visit the ASSIST website under the articulation agreements between UCSB and your Community College. Some majors are considered selective and have additional requirements for all applicants. TAG requirements can exceed these selective main course requirements – both the main selective requirements and TAG requirements must be met. Requirements for full selective primary courses, as described until the end of the spring semester prior to transmission. It is recommended that candidates for courses in the following groups or series, which were completed at the time of application, be informed of the minimum guidelines required. The UC Davis Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is a written agreement that guarantees admission to UC Davis in a certain major of each California Community College (CCC). To be well prepared, it is highly recommended that students meet all subsection course requirements for their main field, as stated on the ASSIST website. In April 2021, day-to-day and non-day applicants will receive their decision to authorize the UCSB at the same location.

Our TAG criteria contain specific requirements that must be met by the end of the fall of 2020 and we will not make authorization decisions until we have your file notes. Yes, the TAG is really a guarantee as long as all the requirements are met. You must apply for a TAG at UCSB in September and apply for a UC at UCSB in November.
