Stormont House Agreement Consultation

The UK government today released a summary of responses to the consultation on the legacy of unrest in Northern Ireland. A printed copy of this consultation document and the corresponding response form are available on request using the email address listed above. They called Mr. Lewis` statement in March a “unilateral and firm statement of intent, not a sound consultation process.” The information you send us may need to be shared with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Office (NIO), other relevant government agencies and relevant Northern Ireland executive departments. The information can also be published in a summary of the responses received, referred to in the published consultation report. The summary of the government`s responses to this consultation and the published consultation report will include a list of organizations that responded, but not individual names without the individual`s permission. Other personal data are not published in the consultation response. The government would be pleased to have feedback from interested individuals or opinions that deal with the specific issues that are included in the consultation document as a whole. The objective of the NIO is to publish this information within 12 weeks of the end of the consultation.
